Scope and on-device processing
This policy covers the 分贝记 iPhone app. No account is required. The app has no advertising, analytics, tracking or third-party social SDKs. The developer does not collect measurements, locations, notes, audio or device identifiers through a developer-operated server. Levels are computed and records are stored on your device.
Microphone and temporary audio
After you start a measurement and grant microphone permission, the app computes levels and writes temporary audio locally. Preserve Audio is OFF by default. Temporary audio is deleted when a session finishes normally. If the process terminates unexpectedly, leftover temporary captures are removed on the next launch. Only when you enable Preserve Audio is audio kept with the local record for sharing you choose.
Time, location and Apple services
Device time, timezone, duration, level samples and optional notes are stored locally. With permission, a record can include coordinates, a place name, horizontal accuracy and the location-fix time. Location is optional. Reverse geocoding and maps use Apple system services and may send related location and network requests to Apple under its privacy policy. The developer does not receive those location requests.
Retention, deletion and backups
Local records remain until you delete them. Swipe a record in the history list to delete it and its retained audio. Removing the app removes its local data. Device and iCloud backups depend on your system settings. Files already exported, sent or stored in another app must be managed in that destination.
Sharing you choose
Sharing generates a local image, CSV samples, JSON record, checksum manifest and optional retained audio. Export copies remain in the device temporary directory under system management. Files are passed to a destination only when you choose it in the system share sheet. Files may contain location, timestamps, notes and audio. Recipients process them under their own policies.
Permissions and choices
You can revoke microphone or location permission in iOS Settings. Microphone permission is required to measure; location is optional. Preserve Audio is controlled in the app settings. The app does not request tracking permission or read your contacts, photo library or chat history.
Website and support correspondence
Cloudflare hosts this website and processes ordinary network requests, including IP addresses, to deliver and secure it. This website has no advertising, analytics scripts or site-tracking cookies. The app does not automatically load this site during measurement. If you email 510245979@qq.com, the support team receives your email address and the information you provide only to respond and handle your request. Correspondence is kept as needed to resolve it, or until you request deletion, except where law requires retention. Do not send passwords or unnecessary private recordings.
